Anthony D. Burton Sr.

Rev.  Dr. Anthony D. Burton Sr., a dedicated servant of God, was born on August 9, 1972, in Greensburg, Louisiana. He is a devoted husband to Lady Jacqueline Burton and the proud father of four children: Hillary, De’Leon, Breon, and Anthony Jr. Raised in Greensburg, he received his primary and secondary education locally before answering the divine call to ministry in 2001.

Rev. Burton is an accomplished scholar, having earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Christian Bible College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and graduated cum laude from Liberty University with degrees in Biblical Education and Religion. He holds a Doctorate of Divinity in Theology from the Greater River City Bible Institute, Baton Rouge, and continues his theological studies at the New Orleans Theological Seminary. Additionally, he has served as an educator at Christian Bible College and the Greater River City Bible Institute.

Since being licensed to preach in 2002, Rev. Burton has led with passion and purpose, pastoring the Greater Hollywood Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, La (2004) and New Hope Ministries in Greensburg, La (2013). Under his leadership, both churches have experienced significant spiritual and numerical growth, enhanced community engagement, and financial freedom. His commitment to the Word of God has led to the flourishing of various ministries and community service programs.

Rev. Burton is also active in local and national Christian leadership, participating in the East Baton Rouge Ministerial Alliance, attending prestigious preaching conferences, and founding LifeCourse Ministries and Anthony Burton Ministries, Inc., which has provided aid to flood victims and continues to serve those in need.

Pastor Burton is a passionate preacher, teacher, and visionary who is committed to spreading the gospel and empowering God’s people. His heart for ministry is rooted in a deep love for God, His Word, and His people.
